How do I self study?

Sorry if this is not the right sub, I'll remove the post if it isn't.

I am a 9th grader in public school and my school is slowly getting rid of honors classes (because of some equality policy). Last year, they apparently got rid of all the science honors, and this year, they are moving on to eliminate the English/history/literature arts honors. Since I no longer have access to classes like honors bio (cuz they don't exist no more) I'd imagine if I wanted to take an AP class it would be so much harder.

What is an effective way of self-studying/do you guys have any resources to recommend to me so I can catch up in terms of ELA, history, and science (bio, chem, and physics stuff)? Also, are there any studies/sources showing that removing honors classes benefits the lower socioeconomic class students?

Thanks in advance!
