Anyone ever teach The Dispossessed?

High school English teacher here. I'll try to keep this brief:

I'd like to read/study Ursula Le Guin's "The Dispossessed" with my upperclassmen (11th or 12th graders). It's a fairly dense book in certain respects, but they are Honors-level classes, and the book would pair well with some of the topics we discuss (utopia vs. dystopia, etc.).

I'm wondering: Has anyone ever taught this at the high school level? If so, any advice? Also, how did you approach a few of the more "controversial" elements (eg. discussions of how sex and relationships work on the "utopian" planet, the brief near-rape scene, etc). I teach in a fairly conservative county and don't want to get any parent complaints.
