If there are GED's for high school then how come there aren't GED equivalent's for college?

I always thought is was weird that states do not provide something similar to a GED for the types of careers that would require you to go to college for. I mean think about some of the benefits that it would provide. Less student loan debt, probably a percentage increase for people who actively pursue a higher education and a different route new high school grad's could pursue. How come we don't have this. Is there something I'm forgetting about?
