Hello everyone, first post here. So I am a bit curious about how the whole system works. You might be surprised I am even asking this, but I really am not acquainted with a lot of things.
As the title says, I am a fresh graduate, sort of. I graduated Language and Literature in July this year and I have been idle until now. I was going to continue with my education, start my Master's but I couldn't afford it at the time. Now I am looking for an internship at my high school. What is the process like? Is it the exact same as applying for a job or must I contact them prior to sending anything like a CV and a cover letter? Also, is it advisable to ask for a recommendation from a professor? It feels really silly to ask for some reason. Thanks for the help.
