I’m going to preface this by saying I’m not a teacher but my mother is. Over dinner today I made a joke about how there should be a teacher draft similar to the NFL draft where the schools with the lowest test scores in a school district should get the best teachers so that way the students who need the extra help can get it from the good teachers then realized that that was a really good idea and my mom agreed. One of the big issues with the public school system is the kids who often need to most help are usually underprivileged students and this could help those students get the help they need to succeed.
