When is the right time to start thinking about what GCSEs you want to do?

I have been wondering about when the right time is to start thinking about my options. I enjoy most subjects and know what job I want,but I don’t know how prepared I should be. I like to be organised and think ahead, but I might be thinking ahead too far.
