Advice for 18 M applying for college?

Hi, I’m 18 M and I would start applying for college in November/December, and I know I really love economics and Politics, but due to my undiagnosed ADHD (now diagnosed, one week) I couldn’t properly dwell into them, and I plan to start applying to PPE after my November exams, so my question is how can I be sure I really love something?

I can read about Politics all day, also economic policy without my meds, but can’t seem to finish books on economics/politics? IK PPE (Phil, Pol, Econs) is a very broad program, and I can find my niche later on as I do love Philosophy and Politics, less so Economics, tho I love Keynes.

I did write an econs research essay it was quite fun in the start but got boring, which could be due to spending long time alone in my room, no social interaction and no serotonin due to lack of exercise and achievements/ups. In addition, I really loved Econs before the pandemic hit, leaving every class brimming with a smile, but less now, maybe that’s due to covid or I romanticised it?

Moreover, after PPE I plan to do my masters either in Maths & Economics or History and Economics, as I’ve been always interested in history as a child, still am, and PPE helps me analyse history quite well, while maths help me in public policy as I would love to work in a think tank

Lastly, I’m on a gap year after November, tho I have to apply for unis as deadlines end in February for next year and get some work experience.

So how can I know that I’ve made the right decision?

Sorry for the bad formatting, I’m anxious and have ADHD.
