My school isn’t giving me options to make up credits. What can I do?

I’ve missed a lot of school due to medical issues and when I brought up making up the credits to my school, they told me that there is no point in even trying. I’m probably about a year behind on credits. I’ve asked if I can repeat a year and they said that they don’t do that. I’ve asked if there are any programs i can join to make them up, and they said no. What can I do?
