Have you ever seen students collude to "misinterpret" assignment instructions on purpose?

Like, have you ever seen students who know that if "everyone" misinterpreted the assignment instructions, DHs or administrators would take that as proof the instructions were unclear, and so that if everyone "misinterprets" them in the same way, none of them have to actually do as much schoolwork as they would if they didn't collude?
