What do you think of the current state of our education system, and what do you think needs to change to enhance learning within schools?

Hi Reddit, I have to write a speech on the topic of our education system and ways of teaching in modern society and would really appreciate it if we could discuss and share our opinions as well as experiences as students who are obligated to spend a large fraction of our lives within this system.
