What do you guys think? I remember in school, when parents would sub for us, it was awesome. We felt so much closer as a community, even the kids. It also encourages the kids whose parents and the sun were close to shape up.
So in my school, I'm looking to facilitate this same kind of atmosphere. We have basically zero school culture aside from state testing anxiety, and I'm hoping this might combat this a bit while building a stronger sense of community.
I plan to screen out the parents of behavior problem kids simply because the infallible humble logic of apples and trees. Any other advice or anecdotes from experience?
