I hope my Russian diploma turned into a pumpkin

Hi everyone, I have a huge dilemma.

I moved from Russia to the US and I want to start a new career from the scratch. I previously got a Japanese History graduate degree in Russia. Now I want to start to do math, because I really love math. But there is two problems.

  1. Most universities in the US does not accept people for the second baccalaureate.
  2. US said they will not recognize diplomas of Russian universities.
If the second is true, I can probably apply to undergrad math program to UC or CSU, but I don't know if it is true or not. If not, all my career hopes is screwed. I could go for a second masters degree, but my level of math is only high school grade, so I have now clue about grad level of math.

My previous plan was to go to a community college than transfer to four year university. Now I just don't know what to do. Give me some advice please.
