Hi, my district is looking for creative ways to foster the social-emotional needs of students during COVID-19. I am here asking for your suggestions. We have thought of the following:
Idea #1: Although remote, we can turn 1 day per week into an asynchronous day, then invite students into school to do their asynchronous day. Only 10 kids per classroom, but at least they would get some social interaction!
Idea #2: Play online games together and/or host a watch party
Idea #3: Weekly check-ins with students via video chat
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, especially based off of idea #1. Thank you!
