Question about classical conditioning and operant conditioning

I was reading and listening to multiple sources about these two concepts.

I just want to clarify about operant conditioning. Can I say in my own words that operant conditioning is getting students to behave the way the teacher wants them to be? Am I right?

I am confused on classical conditioning. I could not find a source that explains it in simple terms.
