Social sciences are more relevant for the average citizen than natural sciences. People should learn in schools politics, law, economics, finance, ethics, philosophy, psychology, geography, linguistics and history in detail. These sciences are far more essential for a proper, functioning, intelligent citizen. Democracies need an enlighted population to function effectively. Don't get me wrong, natural sciences should be taught of course. It is very important for actual technological development, but it shouldn't be the main focus in schools. Rather people should be incentivized to dive deep into it in universities instead. Most people don't work in the field of natural science, but everyone lives in a society and needs to understand it to interact with it properly.
