Has anybody ever been successful that were considered neurologically impaired as a child?

I looked up some tests of mine based on intelligence. It said I was neurologically impaired. It also said I had ADHD and that all my teachers including counselors stated I would easily get distracted. They asked me why I didn't pay attention as a child and my response was I got bored after a while. So with this they deemed me neurologically impaired. If I were neurologically impaired would I have even been able to become a nurse or even get my bachelor's on my own? I'm assuming this was all based on me just not caring about my school work and not being neurologically impaired. I'm curious on others' takes. Thank you!
