Please help me to find some resources for researching

Hello all,

first of, I made the same post in r/Teachers, and because I want as much answers as possible, I repost the question here. Hope it will not cause any serious issue :)

So here is my story:

||

I am about to make a small project on creating a new method for teaching. And my core principle will be around the 'student centered approach'. I've already had an idea but I need some material supporting my thesis.

Could anyone please hint me some scholarly articles or books about that approach or something related to innovating in teaching or activities in class.

I also would like to mention that I am aiming at high school pupils ageing between 15 and 18.

Thank you very much for all of your contribution. And please don't laugh at my 'clumsy' sentences. I'm not very good at English :)

btw, here is my primitive concept on the approach mentioned above (just in case someone is curious. I am also open for any contribution or criticism)

#because of the Covid-19, my school was closed and we all had to change the curriculum to online teaching. After a couple of months, I realized that it's not going to work because of the indifference from the students to the online lesson as well as the linear of the curriculum.

For years, teachers in my country have been talking about teaching with the student centered approach but actually no one has do anything practically or at least showing us what to do for a long run.

My idea is to let pupils control the classroom by giving 1 or 2 groups (of 2) to 'teach', in every online classes. Teachers will just give them (the presenting groups) the content and what they (pupils) need to learn. then at the end of the classes, teachers will be the ones who do the consolidation job (maybe one more extra class will be needed)

I know I am no one to do such a thing. But I rather die trying than doing nothing and let everything ruin. I know everyone in this forum is way better than me. That why I created this post. Please help me. I urge for any comment.

Thank you all again.
