I've seen about four ads this week for different universities offering free tuition, all the way from your first year for free all the way to no tuition for the whole four years. (these are legitimate schools, not scams, no fine print nonsense)
I'm super curious as to what the reason is for this trend, does anybody know?
Is it somehow caused by the pandemic? Are there too little people going to university? Do we need more technical professionals? More scientists, engineers, programmers, etc.?
I'd love to hear your guesses.
