Update on the VR curriculum I’ve been designing for students!!!

A bit of background on myself. I’ve been using VR for over 6 years now (just recently surpassing 10,000 hours used with the technology across over 10+ headsets.) This year I decided to branch out and work on a curriculum in VR I could teach to students while simultaneously informing the school bored of the potential use cases VR has past the one class I was teaching.

This time around the course now fallows much more structured lectures about the past, present, and future of VR technology. As well as offering 3-6 medium for them to work in, final presentations and projects, as well as feedback/reflection worksheets.

It’s been difficult getting the headsets approved and software in order, but after the admin team saw the success of the first and second courses they’re now keen on purchasing more headsets and hardware for next year!

If your interested in seeing how it turned out I posted on r/VirtualReality and r/OculusQuest with the images and results!

I’m also 100% open to answering any questions or inquiries about the curriculum or process I had to go through. Either through comments or PM’s.
