What's that engineering that deals with making robots and cool gadgets?

I will be starting my IGCSE O level class tomorrow, and our school provide some recommendations for what subjects to take if you want to be something. I am a little confused of what type of engineering I will have to choose. So my interest is making little cool projects that deals with machines or robots or stuffs, like for example, my cousin is made this homemade camera gimbal stabilizer, and I find it interesting and hopefully study it. But what type of engineering is it? Is it electrical, mechanical or mechatronics? I try to search on Google but I didn't get a single difinitive answer.
