would employers care if I have a 2-year diploma continuing 2-year bachelor's vs a typical 4-year bachelor's?

suppose I were to continue my education towards a bachelor's at a different school after completing a diploma. Would employers care at all about me having a 2-year diploma and having spent another 2 years working towards a bachelor's? for more background I am in taking a BA. any feedback helps!
