Anyone have experience studying abroad in community college?

I dropped out freshman year of high school but I've been studying for my ged and want to start with Community College the first 2 years before potentially going to a 4 year for the last 2. I have a fair amount saved(about 23k) and would really love to study abroad somewhere, but I'm worried it might be more tricky to achieve through a Community College. I know it's something you can do but rarely see people talk about it so just curious if anyone has experience
