Hey, Redditors! I'm a 1st year student and curious to know more about whether notetakers like Notion, Obsidian, Logseq or others truly help you in studying/educating or not.
I'm considering choosing one to use and would like to know more about their drawbacks especially. In order to be ready for some alternative costs, ofc
By this I mean that I want to get ready to some issues that I can encounter when trying to get used to <this super cool notetaker>
Nowadays the market of productivity tools is too overcrowded and it seems to me like all the apps are the same, just look in different ways. But as you know, visual representation is not the key thing in education. I've seen many videos in which people say that notetaking in such "smart" apps is just fiction and procrastination. You just feel "smart". But in fact you just create an information dump.
So, I decided to start a discussion here. Maybe you have any clues and things to share. Thanks in advance.
