*Sorry in advanced for bad English.
I'm not certain if this subreddit is for this type of question. I'm in my last year of university, doing a degree in criminology (in Mexico), I'm doing an investigation on forensic crime scene investigators, and how the acquisition of knowledge can facilitate or lead them to commit a crime. I'm focusing on the prevention side of things from an institute of higher education standpoint, so prevention starting from universities. After investigating for the past 2 months or so, professionals that have committed crimes in this line of work (ruling out mental health issues) seems to lack professional ethics, responsibility, and commitment (responsibility and commitment regarding their profession and to society). So, I took a look at the study plan for all grades and courses of the degree at the university I'm at, and there's only one subject relating to professional ethics for the whole 3 years. So, the idea here is so instill these teachings at this stage of their professional formation, but how? As educators, what would be the methods, study plans or strategies you would use? And if there is some article or study on the matter that would help too as I have not found any.
