What do teachers think when students ask for help?

Today I had math last period so I stayed after school to get help regarding trigonometry. I felt really ashamed to ask for help and I don’t know why. I just felt embarrassed. I started to cry and that made it even more embarrassing. I’m very emotional when it comes to grades and schoolwork and I have cried a lot in front of teachers. I don’t want them to think I’m trying to emotionally manipulate them to get good grades but that thought keeps running through my mind. What if subconsciously I’m trying to gain sympathy from them? If I think rationally then I’m like oh I was overwhelmed with the content but another side of me feels like I come off disingenuous. What do teachers think when students ask questions and are they ever annoyed? What do they think when students cry?
