Rejection

Just got rejected from college (England). They said I am on a list of 279 reserve applicants as they had "the largest number of applications in the College’s history." I was even assured during the interview, they had a 100% acceptance rate. As I am a Grade 789 student, I assume I was rejected because I live too far away, even though I am in the 30-mile boundary at a close 29 xd. Anyway, I have applied to 2 other colleges and have been accepted to one but they are nowhere near as good as my 1st choice, lacking resources and with ratings below the national average. I can't go private as my parents cannot afford it and don't want to ruin my education. What do I do?
