Why do people not seem to be talking about these issues with the education system?

-Overemphasis on and bias about facts, details, depth, rules, known, communication, factual memorization, reason, control

-Under-emphasis on and bias about patterns, connections, concepts, breadth, novelty, understanding, freedom, consumption, visuals, value, emotion

-Disrespect of systems thinking

-Disrespect of long-term, unchanging knowledge (e.g. teaching accounting and finance fundamentals rather than a life skills class)

-Inefficiency

-Biased learning methods

-Disrespect of individuality

-Disrespect of forming one’s own opinion and belief

-Disrespect of emotion and value

-Biased curriculum (e.g. geology is considered important because it's physical and detailed which is perceived as positive to the creators of the curriculum)

-Conflict of interest

-A distorted version of the scientific method is taught with appeal to authority, over-respect of the opinions of others, a lack of questioning of facts and details with imagination, a misunderstanding of credentials, and neglect of probability

-Teachers often talk too much and in a monotone manner

-Poor testing methods
