Long story short, a player that I train plays HS basketball at a National level. She misses a lot of school, and she doesn’t do well academically. She failed her History course due to not doing a project while she was away for basketball. The administrator told the teacher she’s glad that my player failed since she is lazy, doesn’t bother to come have the time, and doesn’t even ask for help until the last minute. I find this highly inappropriate, educators should want students to succeed. Is this fair?
