Where are archives located?

I have planned to write about this for my blog.

I plan on using references such as Franz Fanon ‘Black Skin, White Masks’ (2015 ed) and Tina Campt’s book ‘Listening to Images’ (2017) to answer it.

The question is “Where are the archives of race, empire and nation located? How do these archives displace traditional/colonial ideas of the archive?”

I wanted to touch on common archiving like Statues and monuments, museums, libraries, digital

I also wanted to speak on physical markers like scarification for archiving, verbal storytelling as well as the body as an archive because of trauma and abuse but haven’t found good things yet
