How to deal with ADHD student?

So I’m a first year, first grade teacher and I have 23 students. The vast majority of my class is pretty chill and I don’t really have any extreme behaviors, except for one boy, who I’m 99% sure has ADHD or something similar. He constantly has to be out of his seat, always is off-task, cries for any single little thing, gets extremely angry, and always wants to “help” and cries if he doesn’t get his way, then his fine 5 minutes later. He also is fairly low academically and during any small group instruction, he just tries to copy other people and/or refuses to sound out our blends/diagraphs. In Math, he actually is pretty bright, but extremely lazy. At this point, it’s just been a recurring cycle and the rest of the students and I just seem done with it. I even had him a part of our monthly winning group’s “lunch with the teacher” where I get some of my students pizza during lunch and they watch a movie. Even during that time, he couldn’t relax and enjoy the pizza/movie. He just kept wanting to run around and cause chaos. My reading coach told me he’s a student I’d remember 20 years from now and that he erupts like a volcano and that I should go over the story with him on how to control his emotions, yet no matter how hard I try, his behavioral tendencies seem to always get the best of him. He was tardy on Monday (came in around 2 hours late) and before that, I was telling my instructional assistant how blissful and calm the class had been since he’s like never absent, then speaking of the devil (like literally) this kid came in and the energy changed. I love the vast majority of my students and consistently challenge them to their best but with this kid, I just feel like there’s a threshold and the class is 100x times better off without him. For reference, I’m a 23 year old male and he doesn’t have any father figure in his life. Do any of you have any effective strategies? Am I wrong for feeling this way?
