In the country I teach (France), one state/region at a time, books are being replaced by tablets (subsidized by the state/region). Approximatively half of high school students are now supposed to own a tablet thanks to this policy.
Those tablets are mainly/only used by students to access their ebooks (ebooks = scanned version of their textbook...editors really didn't do much to add interactivity).
Is it the same in your country, are textbook being replaced by ebooks/tablets ? And, if yes, are the ebooks just a simple "pdf" version of the textbook with little to no added interactivity ?
