I live in Pakistan and just graduated from Highschool . I applied into all medical universities (considering the fact that i was a pre med student) but didn't got into any of my preferred public universities . I ultimately decided that I'd do a Gap year but my parents seem to be a bit reluctant about the idea . They insist me on taking undergraduate programs in computer science or law (stuff i was never otherwise interested to or would want to pursue . ) I can not afford to Travel alone (as most people do during their gap years ) so i want you guys to help me with the maximizing the Gap year in the best way possible so that i could next , put that into my applications for universities abroad . Or feel free to guide me if my ideas and plans sound a bit too dreamy and non-practical (atleast that's what my Asian parents tell me ! )
