Urgent question: Can I retake a college subject I already passed? And if you can: If I try with better note, the lower note disappears (it is replaced by the higher note)?

This is not specified (or not found) in my university. I have had personal problems and these have led me to neglect my studies a little, luckily I am already solving them and, therefore, I want to focus on my university education. As a middle class I had the great fortune to enter one of the best universities in the country, so I will DEFINITELY NOT MISS THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY!! I was so happy to enter that I swore that I would graduate with Summa Cum Laude and intend to comply, so please thank you for your help.
