Class full. My university won’t let me graduate or open new seats. My advisor told me to “just change me major” after 5 years of hard work and passion😥 I cried every day.

The class I need to take to graduate is full and my university (top US school) won’t let me graduate or override it. I talked to my advisor and he said there’s nothing he can do and told me to “change my major” after 5 years of hard work and passion to get the degree I want😭. The Dean is ignoring my email. I already tried to get into this class last semester but couldn’t.... and this semester it’s full again. I cried because I’m worried I won’t graduate. My family and I are really poor and can’t afford to pay tuition + rent if I don’t graduate. I’m stressed to the point where I started to hurt myself. What can I do? Is what my university doing to me legal?
