Does school really matter

I'm a autistic 16 year old guy, I've never being the sharpest tool in the shed or the brightest in the bunch however you wanna say it. In a years time I will be leaving school, And we have a big test as usual, I do all the studying and stuff, At least one subject fully studied a day. The teachers in my school keep trying to "emphaise" the important of the subjects they teach us, I use it in quotes because it comes across as " You better do well or you're screwed" and the future has always being something I feared especially coming to sucess and stuff, But I've never being good at maths or engineering (Theory), Anything with numbers, I also have hard time going by the rules, Like in art I'm almost never interested in what the teacher wants me to draw, Instead I'm more interested in my stuff but I still begrudingly do the work. I'm good at subjects like english, history, buisness. But I still fear for my life after school and what will happen to me if I don't do well. As well as people are expecting me to go to college and do business or game development or animation, But I don't wanna do any of that, I wanna be an actor, I'm unsure if I wanna go to college. And people are breathing down my neck constantly telling me how it isn't a good choice and I should do something else and go to college and it feels like I can't do anything that will make me happy without my parents and family doubting it and telling me to do something else. I've also done research into the flaws of the current education system So tell me, As someone who I think isn't in school anymore or as a teacher, Does school really matter?
