Foreign Language and College Credits

If I took Spanish 1 two years ago, took a break from Spanish last year, and decided to take Spanish 1 again this year, would that count towards my credits? I passed Spanish, but I'm afraid I'm too rusty to pick up where I left off.

Or should I just suck it up and use Duolingo over the summer? My school sucks. We only have Spanish as an option.
