I am thinking about making a PLC for educators of all sorts, what are your thoughts?

So I am currently completing my M/Ed and I have really enjoyed the opportunity to learn with others and producing content about educational material. I was thinking about creating a site focused on three elements with the central idea for educational material for educators by educators. The first element would be a book list with the option for members to add Executive Book Summaries. The second would be for collaborative learning groups that people can sign up for and then take the group off-site. The third would be Events to create leadership, instructional coaching, and synchronous learning opportunities. I have started the basic site with Google Sites and I could it to be an Educational NGO. I would love to hear your ideas, perspectives or opinions about this project.
