What do companies need to do if they want to host writing competitions for students?

A question for US teachers within English in the primary and lower secondary school (ages 6-16, if I'm right on this one)!
If a company were to host a writing contest (could be "write our new slogan", "come up with an idea for a quest in a game" or "name the new hero/villain character" e.g.) – could this be arranged? And if so, what does the company need to do?
Or does these sort of competitions need to go via writing clubs/book clubs or similiar?

I'm based in Sweden, and here all the companies who ask of this needs to be "tripple-checked", due to financials and values etc. And the teachers have no say in what company or task that's better than the other.
