Never rebelled against parents, but other teens?

When I (woman, adult now) was a teen, I never rebelled against my parents. The things other teens said and did, the bitching, the hating the parents, the partying, the stupid things never made sense to me. One could even say that I rebelled against my peers by being the "good" kid. I was nerdy and boring, had good grades, even got bullied for it. Now that I am an adult and I am working with children and teens, I notice that I can't really relate to them. I feel like something was wrong with me to never go through a teenage phase. However I grew into an ok adult, I think. Does or did anyone have the same experience?
