Going back to school

I dont know if this belongs here but, I always seem to get overwhelmed asking peers, family, and even Google. I am 26, I've never done well in school really if you ask me but I've made my mind up about going to college. The one thing though is trying to figure out how to prepare myself academically to go back to school. I've always done poorly in math and in science and would like to find out where I am on the scale. It gets frustrating at times because it really deters me from wanting to go back, but I know I NEED TOO. I WANT TOO. This is really a cry for help lol. THANK YOU.
