Hello redditors. I hope some people from this subreddit will be able to help me with this issue, maybe other teachers.
I believe I am in the worst case a respectful student. I never do anything to disrupt the class, answer rude to my teachers or anything like that and I study enough to get some good grades ( Bs, As and on very rare ocassions Cs).
I moved into this new school 2 years ago and every single math lesson since has been an absolute stress for me. I am quite good at this subject and whenever tested I get good grades. However, I believe my teacher has something against me for no apparent reason. In my country we also have oral grades where teachers make us resolve a exercise on camera by speaking. Every student except me has 1 oral grade per semester while I have four or more. Not to mention I get asked to resolve a exercise almost every single hour and if I do it good I will not get a good grade anyway.
Once in a while I tend to slip up and do a mistake which, no matter how big or small, results in me getting the lowest grade possible. The teacher proceeds to humiliate me and tell me how I don't study and I should be ashamed of it. Ocassionally he will call my dad and tell him he should take measures to punish me and make me study harder ( and he does by verbally abusing the crap out of me at home. This never helps and it just simply destroys my mental health and love for school).
I hope some teachers might be able to read this and provide me with some insight. I just want to be treated like every other student and stop this from driving me into mental disease. I want to mention that I never did anything disrespectfully to him and always attended his class.
*sorry for my grammar mistakes but English is not my 1st language. I would also like to mention that he does paid hours after school and I think he might be doing this to persuade me into joining them.
