General Inquiry About Research Based Teaching in the General Education Population.

As an educator I have been very interested in research into teaching and learning. Over the years I have learned a lot about how we learn and found lots of great information and strategies that have benefited me and my students. The thing is, these are mostly topics that I never hear about in my everyday school life or school professional development.

I’m just interested to know if this is just my experience or something else. Also I want to try to learn about any ideas or strategies out there I might have missed.

So two questions:

1. What are the research based ideas or strategies that are popular in your education ecosystem.

2. How do you feel about them?
