Getting a medical card in Illinois, still keeping teaching job?

Hey, all!

As a person living with anxiety, dispensary edibles really help, and they especially help with chronic pain. I want to get a medical card, however, I know most schools are drug-free zones, so I guess my question is...

If I have a medical card for cannabis, will school districts know? Will this deter them from hiring me?
