What is more important in schools today... Preparing students to be knowledgeable and smart with regards to content (an academic concept of curriculum) or to be more caring and able to think about others in society (a more humanistic concept)?
I can see the benefits and drawbacks to both of these concepts... I am curious as to what others think.
