Location: USA. Hello, this is less political and more about advocating for our educational systems. This year, after teaching 9 years, I was asked to move into a mini administrator position. As I seem to excel in this area per supervisor reports (not tooting my horn here), I’d like to know how I can progress toward advocacy for educational systems. Would that be upper administration? Moving toward district leadership or county department of Ed?
I have credits toward a masters degree that I’m not presently using. Is the only way to go EdD? How would I research a program aligning to my needs and interests?
Thank you for your consideration.
