Where can I get the raw data for education vs income studies?

It is a common statement that a university education is worth an extra $1,000,000 in income over a lifetime. While this seems likely to be correct it would be interesting to see how much of this extra wealth comes from the elite universities that are producing the super-rich and how much of it trickles down to graduates of the lower ranking schools. Can anyone direct me to a study that addresses this or at least a place to get view raw data on the topic?
