I failed high school and have decided to do A-Levels and then study neuroscience at uni. But before doing A-Levels i need to know the what are the requirements for doing neuroscience. I found a uni and have trouble understanding their requirements. Under their Entry requirements, This is what they wrote:
"BBC in either science or arts subjects (A levels with a strong academic component will rank higher than those without). Psychology A level is not required"
In an email i send they clarified more :
"The entry requirement for BSc Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience is BBC in either arts or science subjects. In addition to that, applicants must also have Grade B in Mathematics and one science subject in high school diploma or equivalent."
As i understand, i need to have three subjects Maths, Science , and an art subject.
For science, i have thought about doing psychology in A levels and for art, i will do History or literature.
Now, What do they mean by" BBC in art or science subject"? What is "BBC"? Secondly, Am i right about doing 3 subjects or do i need only 2?
Cause in the first passage they said, "BBC in either science or art subjects" but in my email they "Math is necessary, also a science...."
This is the website of the university if ur wondering: https://www.studymalaysia.com/what/course/nottingham/0054281
