Paradigm shift policy out of NYC

NYC is in the middle of an exciting mayoral election. Unfortunately, most of the candidates are passing out pretty stale candy when it comes to K12.

One candidate, however, Sara Tirschwell (R), posted last week a comprehensive reform proposal that I think is just brilliant and earth-shaking.

Her proposal centers on parental involvement on a massive scale to drive K12 education. Why don't we all go in this direction?
