What happens when the principal is the bully?

Came across this horror story in r/teaching from a parent about things happening in her kid's school. After reading the post, I was truly horrified that something like this is allowed in our schools. Have things changed so much from when we were kids? When did education become so callous and cruel? These kids have enough to face on a daily basis with this pandemic and now they face humiliation from the people who are supposed to be supporting them and we wonder why teen suicide is on the rise.
