Experts have a lot of knowledge about their field. Going off the premise that most people will agree with that statement,

What knowledge about teaching and learning do teachers need to have to be considered expert teachers?

I have a lot to say on this topic personally, but I’m leaving it broad like this because I am interested in hearing what other people in education have to say. But one thing I am focusing on is the teaching and learning aspect specifically.
